DTMs in Newfoundland and Labrador

The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation is the highest award offered by Toastmasters International. In order to achieve the designation of DTM a member must have; completed CTM and ATM designations, maintained 4 years continuous membership to date of application, coordinated at least one Speechcraft and one Youth Leadership course within two years of application, given at least five speeches to non Toastmasters groups, served a full term as club officer, sponsored five new members within one year of application and sponsored or mentored a new club.

In December of 1994 two Newfoundland Toastmasters achieved this milestone. These are the first DTM's from clubs within Newfoundland and Labrador.
