The Toastmaster Club of Grand Falls - Windsor is the longest running Toastmaster club in the province. The club received its charter in September of 1966. The key person responsible for the formation of the club was Ben Pich. Ben had transferred from the mainland, where he had received his ATM. Many of the members involved in the first club were former Dale Carnegie students whom Ben had contacted to form a Toastmasters Club. Ben was elected as first President of the club.

The club has one active charter member, Phil Power. Phil received his ATM certificate (#13,803) Oct 26, 1984. It is believed that this was the first ATM earned in a provincial club. The club was initially chartered as The Grand Falls Toastmasters Club but changed its name in 1991 to reflect the amalgamation of Grand Falls-Windsor.

The club has produced one other ATM, Warrick Canning. Warrick is an active Toastmaster who has won several provincial awards, for both the Serious and Humorous speech categories. He received his ATM early in 1993.
