The Grand Lodge of Newfoundland and Labrador was consecrated November 1st, 1997 with 32 Lodges. Freemasonry can be traced from 1795.

Newfoundland & Labrador, the tenth province of Canada, is located off its east coast in the Atlantic Ocean. It has its own time zone which is one of the few half hour time zones in the world. We are half an hour ahead of Atlantic time, or one and one half hours ahead of Eastern time. Our population is over five hundred thousand.
